La verdad es que aunque serán muy intensos e intensivos estos dos días me va a servir de mucho ya que los Keynotes son ponentes con temas muy interesantes.</p> <p>Por otro lado esta el <a href="http://77.240.22.176:8000/world_record/">tema del Record Guinnes</a>... ya están pegados los carteles y la web está online desde hace mucho tiempo. interesante en el <a href="http://joseramonalcala.blogspot.com/2009/09/fotografia-y-mirada-en-la-era-digital.html">blog de Alcalá</a> que reflexionaba en torno a la fotografía (él se siente mucho mas cómodo con el término electrografía) y la mirada en la era digital, y paralelamente pensaba en mis series de autoretratos y piezas de vídeo...<br />Puede decirse que en realidad la temática para mis trabajos no ha cambiado sustancialmente, pues sigo explorando diferentes caminos expresivos a través de mi cuerpo como modelo y de mi propia mirada como creadora. La cuestión mas interesante es sin duda alguna, pensar en el espectador que obserba lo que haces, que es quien termina de construir la historia de lo que ha pasado en la fotografía o en el vídeo.<br />Ayer mismo buscaba diferencias sustanciales entre mi propia obra y la de Cindy Sherman, salvando las distancias generacionales claro, y me di cuenta de que hoy día el reto para la creación a través de la propia imagen (o de la imágen autoprovocada) consiste emitir mensajes plurales que sacudan conciencias pulcramente estabilizadas en torno a lo que se puede o no ver, a lo que es estrictamente real o no, a lo que puede y no puede ser.<br />En definitiva, lo que la imagen digital permite a los creadores es jugar al equívoco de una manera mucho mas accesible en cuanto a las herramientas y los lenguajes, pero es un arma de doble filo, pues el espectador ya tiene cierta desconfianza ante lo que está mirando.</p> <p><span style="color: #006600;">////////</span></p> <p><span style="color: #006600;"><br />I have read today a very interesting entry on <a href="http://joseramonalcala.blogspot.com/2009/09/fotografia-y-mirada-en-la-era-digital.html">Alcala's blog</a> who reflected on the photograph (He feels much more comfortable with the term electrographic image) and the seeing in the digital Era, parallel I thought in my series of self-portraits and video pieces ... </p> <p>You can actually say my artwork theme has not changed substantially, because I still exploring different ways of expression through my body as a model and my own eyes as creator. Pero por otro lado, en esos paseos a veces te pierdes, y una cosa te lleva a la otra, y tu curiosidad te despista y te hace retomar otros hilos que te parecen mucho mas interesantes en ese momento. Esos hilos además te traen y te llevan, te mecen y tu te dejas. Y al final te encuentras con conejos que corren en medio del bosque de tus búsquedas. Conejos que te desconciertan y persigues sin tregua...<br />Supongo que soy una especie de Alicia en el país de las net-maravillas.<br />Y de repente, una se topa con sitios estupendos que le hacen sonreir y pensar que en el fondo, y a pesar de estar "alone in the dark", hay puntos de luz en el horizonte de la investigación. Esos focos luminosos te hacen sentir bien y te hacen sentir mal. Te hacen sentir bien ya que te reafirmas en tus propias creencias... en el "yo lo sabía, tenía razón, era cuestión de tiempo" y te hacen sentir mal porque otros dijeron lo mismo que tu pensabas decir, mas fuerte o en el lugar adecuado.<br />Da rabia pensar que lo que tu querías hacer, desarrollar y proyectar, ya está encaminado por otros... y lo que es peor: sponsorado... y eso te hace sentir como Alicia cuando bebe de la botella, muy muy pequeña.<br />Pero por otro lado, no hay cosa mejor que darse cuenta de las cosas a tiempo para reenfocar el asunto, darle un giro y generar nuevas propuestas aditivas... eso es lo mas emocionante...<br />Probar de otras botellas para hacerse mas grande.<br />Por cierto, la webdata que tiene la culpa de estos re-thinks es http://beta.see-this-sound.at/  un proyecto de Sandra Naumann para el Ludwing Boltzmann Institut<br />Y si, darse cuenta de esas cosas es muy productivo.</p> <p><span style="color: #003300;">//////////</span></p> <p><span style="color: #003300;"><br />Yesterday was a very productive day. <br />On one side, are all those routes and net-finding trips to achieve the precise source for documenting an idea to write another line in your text. But on the other hand, in these walks sometimes you get lost, and one thing leads to another and your curiosity misleads you and makes you pick up other threads that you think are much more interesting. These threads also bring you and swimg from side to side. So in the end you find some rabbits running in the forest of your searches. Rabbits that baffle you and you persecute them relentlessly ... <br />I guess I'm a sort of Alice in the net-wonderland. <br />Suddenly you find great sites that make you smile and think that deep down, despite being "alone in the dark", there are points of light in the horizon of research. These light sources make you feel good and make you feel bad. They make you feel good and reaffirmed in your own beliefs ... in the "I knew it was right, a matter of time" and make you feel bad because others said the same thing you think stronger or in the right place. <br />It's infuriating to think what you wanted to do, develop and project aims for another ... and even worse: sponsored ... it makes me feel like Alice drinking from the bottle: very very small. <br />But on the other hand, there is nothing better to realize things to refocus the issue, putting a spin and generate new additive proposals... Me complace saber que si se puede abocetar una especie de misión para mi: documentar!!!</p> <p>Pero hay preguntas que rebotan sin parar en mi cerebro<br />Cuando una obra tiene un carácter performativo (de directo, en vivo) como es el caso de este tipo de producciones que me tiene entretenida ¿Cómo se documenta este hecho artístico? ¿Cómo se colecciona este tipo de arte? ¿Cuál es el proceso de conservación? ¿Cómo se comisaria un evento de estas características? ¿Cuáles son los elementos que determinan que una obra tiene valor artístico? ¿Cómo se realizan las transacciones comerciales con este tipo de creaciones? ¿Se puede invertir en este tipo de creaciones? ¿Qué tipo de coleccionismo nos espera en esta era de arte digital? ¿Qué tipo de público está dispuesto a descifrar estas nuevas formas de experimentación y creación? ¿Es todo este movimiento fruto de una moda?</p> <p>Y a mí cada día se me ocurre una respuesta diferente a estas preguntas que llevo haciéndome durante mucho tiempo...</p> <p>////////////////</p> <p><strong> <span style="color: #336666;"># post memo one #</span></strong></p> <p><span style="color: #336666;">In the mornig while I was cicling to Mlab, I have been thinking I should write "post memo series"  where put my ideas about my theoretical background for the thesis.</p> <p>But my thoughts always go to another ways... I go with my mind to other gardens and when I return, these original ideas have been remixed with hundreds of other things.</p> <p>So far I have been thinking where is the investigative focus on contemporary art (in general) for the future and what is the reason of document this heterogeneous creative process that has me trapped...</p> <p>I suppose it is very important writing that there is a community of artists who use digital composition to generate a plastic audiovisual creations, since the online sources can not always be in place and not miss any vital information about a movement or a creators community. I am glad to know I have a mission: document! </p> <p>But there are questions bouncing nonstop in my head<br />When a work has a performative character (direct, real time) as this kind of productions, How is documented this artistc fact? How do you collect this type of art? What is the conservation process? How commissioner an event like this? What are the elements that determine whether a work has artistic value? How are commercial transactions with such creations? Can we invest in this creations? What type of collectibles awaits us in the Digital Art Era? What kind of people are willing to decode these new experimentation and creation forms? Una seleccón de productos de diseño y moda nórdicos a precios de outlet.</p> <p>Después en el piso de arriba, disfrutamos de un desfile, colección otoño-invierno, de los jóvenes diseñadores de <a href="http://www.ovvn.net/">OVVN</a>. La verdad es que terminamos un poco reventados y el cuerpo nos pedía un coffe caliente... que nos tomamos fuera del recinto viendo la flor y nata mas moderna y cool de esta ciudad... el verdadero desfile estaba en la gente que va a estos saraos...jajajaj</p> <p>Luego tomamos un metro hasta Kalasatama, donde la galería <a href="http://www.napabooks.com/ ">NAPA</a>, había organizado unas intervenciones plásticas en las inmediaciones del antiguo puerto.</p> <p>Con la intención de ver alguna cosa mas, nos dirigimos al centro... el <a href="http://www.designdistrict.fi/design_district">Design Distric</a> nos esperaba... pero era sábado, y sábado en Helsinki, es como domingo en España... las tiendas cierran toda la tarde y el centro está semi-desierto.</p> <p>Y nada... nos quedamos con las ganas de mas! pero aun nos queda toda esta semana... ahhh y además estamos contentos porque desde ayer podemos acercarnos cualquier dia al <a href="http://www.kiasma.fi/">KIASMA</a> a ver a Pipilotti Rist, yuhuuu!</p> <p>///////</p> <p>This weekend has been very productive.</p> <p>We took a walk by the Design Market at <a href="http://www.kaapelitehdas.fi/">Kaapelitehdas</a> (Cable Factory) and there we saw a little of everything. A seleccón product design, and Nordic fashion outlet prices.</p> <p>Later, upstairs we enjoy a fashion show of autumn-winter collection for young designers from <a href="http://www.ovvn.net/">OVVN</a>. The truth is we finished a little tired and we bought a hot coffee and we enjoyed outside viewing the most modern and cool people from this city ... parade was the real people who go to these events ... jajajaj</p> <p>Then, we took a subway to Kalasatama, where <a href="http://www.napabooks.com/ ">NAPA</a> gallery, has organized a plastic interventions near the former harbour.</p> <p>With the intention of seeing something more, we walked to the center ... <a href="http://www.designdistrict.fi/design_district">The Design Distric</a> was waiting us ... but it was Saturday, and Saturday in Helsinki, is like Sunday in Spain ... shops are closed all afternoon and all city center was semi-desert.</p> <p>We were wanting more! but we still have all this week ... ahhh and we're happy because since yesterday we can go to <a href="http://www.kiasma.fi/">KIASMA</a> and ser the new Pipilotti Rist´s exhibtion, yuhuuu!</p>
